Pleasant River Guide Service offers quality hunts and lodging for Black Bear, Moose, Whitetail Deer, Turkey and Ruffed Grouse. Recently relocated to our new location in Sebec, Maine just 45 minutes northwest of Bangor.
Our central Maine location offers some of the finest hunting in the northeast. Bear hunts are kept to small groups of 6 hunters or less, offering you personal attention and assistance. You will never again wait for hours to be picked up at night. Our guides never leave the hunting grounds while you are sitting on stand.
The main lodge is located on a 350 acre compound overlooking a beautiful pond and landscaped yard. The Pleasant River is just a few miles away in the town of Milo. Our kitchen and dining area can comfortably accommodate large groups of up to 20 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The 5 log cabins on the property are capable of housing up to 6 in some, 5 in others and smaller cabins. Each are equipped with updated showers and some with kitchenettes. Features include covered porch, picnic table and charcoal grills. Guests enjoy free wifi and satellite tv available in some.
The lodge is open year round for wilderness getaways as well. Whether attending a class reunion, wedding or just want to escape the noise of the city and reconnect with nature, the quiet and peaceful surroundings will surely soothe your soul. Day trip to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, Greenville and the Moosehead Lake region, or simply curl up on your porch with a book. There is a snowmobile trail access within the compound, which are also great for hiking. ATV trail heads nearby. Coming soon will be special interest fall and winter events at the lodge, some including either lunches or dinners.
