We have a groomed access trail that connects to Maine ITS83 from there you can head west to the Greenville Moosehead Lake region or north to Jo Mary and Millinocket. Guided Hunting & Fishing.

We offer a wide range of hunting opportunities for black bear, moose, grouse, woodcock and deer. Book one of our guided hunts or set out on your own. The area surrounding Sebec offers the hunter some of the best hunting around.

Fishermen can find endless places to fish in any of the many area lakes or streams. You can expect to catch many types of trout along with some excellent smallmouth bass fishing.

Katahdin Iron Works

The Katahdin Iron Works was listed with the National Register of Historic Places in 1969, it is a Maine state historic site located in near the town of Brownville, Me. Katahdin Iron Works operated from 1845 to 1890. In addition to the kilns of the ironworks (of which only one survives), the community was served by a railroad and had a 100-room hotel.

Gulf of Hagas

Gulf Hagas is a two and a half mile long water-formed canyon. The river falls 500 feet in the canyon, including multiple waterfalls. It is sometimes called the "Grand Canyon of the East". It is an eight-mile round trip side trip off the 100-Mile Wilderness section of the Appalachian Trail.

Baxter State Park

Baxter State Park is a large wilderness area permanently preserved as a state park, located in Piscataquis County in north-central Maine. It is in the North Maine Woods region, and borders the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument.

The park was established by 28 donations of land, in trust, from park donor Percival P. Baxter between the years of 1931 and 1962, eventually creating a park of over 200,000 acres in size. Baxter Park is not part of the Maine State Park system. Sole governance is provided by the Baxter State Park Authority, consisting of the Maine Attorney General, the Maine Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife and the Director of the Maine Forest Service. The park is home to the state's highest peak, Mount Katahdin.

Moosehead lake

Moosehead Lake is the largest lake in the state of Maine and the largest mountain lake in the eastern United States. Situated in the Longfellow Mountains in the Maine Highlands Region, the lake is the source of the Kennebec River. There are over 80 islands in the lake, the largest being Sugar Island. Set at an elevation of 1,023 feet, Moosehead Lake is approximately 40 by 10 miles, with an area of 120 mile, and over 400 miles of shoreline.


Maine's snowmobilers can enjoy riding the 4,000 mile Interconnected Trails System (ITS) and 14,000 total miles of groomed and marked snowmobile trail. We are located on the ITS 83 trail with a groomed connecter trail right to our cabins.

Cross Country Sking & SnowShoeing

Cross Country Skiers & Snowshoers use many of the same trails as the snowmobilers or set out and blaze your own trail.


Maine is famous for outstanding fishing, with thousands of lakes, ponds, rivers and streams filled with trout, salmon and smallmouth bass just to name a few.

The northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail is on Mount Katahdin's Baxter Peak in Baxter State Park. Maine has 281 miles of the trail. Smaller local trails and a abundace of logging roads are also available for hiking.

Maine comes alive with color in the fall, come join us in late September and early October for some of the areas best leaf peeping.
